I am a Registered Nurse who recently retired after 38 years of hospital nursing. My belief is that for true healing to occur we must integrate not only the physical aspects of who we are, but the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects as well. It was my experience that while allopathic medicine has clearly improved the diagnosis and treatment of disease, it had not accounted for the energetic or spiritual resources that we all have as part of our innate healing system.

I became increasingly interested in complimentary alternative medicine offerings and how integrating these to our current western medical model could improve patients outcomes.
